Meet Our Travel Designer: Tanya Saenz

Hi, I’m Tanya Saenz, a travel designer with Great Circle Travel. I’ve always believed travel is about so much more than simply visiting a new place. It gives us a chance to experience different cultures, connect with people, try new things and create memories with the people we love.

Why I Became a Travel Designer

Travel has always been an important part of my life. I was born in Mexico, speak Spanish, and have traveled to more than 25 countries. Every destination has taught me something and reinforced how valuable it is to experience the world beyond our everyday lives.

I became a travel designer because I love helping other people have those experiences. I genuinely enjoy putting together the hotels, restaurants, transportation and special details that turn a good trip into an unforgettable one.

My Travel Philosophy

I believe the best trips are well planned, but never over-planned. Take care of the important details and the experiences you don’t want to miss, but leave time to wander, discover something unexpected and simply enjoy where you are.

My biggest piece of travel advice is simple: Don’t try to do everything. Slow down enough to truly experience the destination and enjoy the people you’re traveling with.

A Few Fun Facts

  • Favorite part of traveling: Sharing new experiences with the people I love

Let’s Plan Your Next Trip

There is so much to see in this amazing world, and life is too short to keep saying “someday.”Let’s start checking those destinations off your bucket list!

Whether it’s a milestone vacation, a getaway with friends, a family trip or somewhere you’ve always dreamed of visiting, I’d love to help you create a trip that feels completely your own.

Tell me where you’re dreaming of going, and let’s start planning!
