I’ll try almost anything once, with one firm exception: mystery ingredients. Living in Singapore taught me a lot about the world and sparked a strong desire to see it all, but it wasn’t successful in making me embrace adventurous eating!

Everything else, count me in. I’ve backpacked Europe on a Eurail pass, hiked to Machu Picchu twice in one year, explored New Zealand by RV, and walked the Camino de Santiago. I’ve slept in five-star hotels and rustic mountain lodges, and I’ve happily spent entire days wandering a city on foot with no plan beyond the next corner.

What it all taught me is that a great trip isn’t about how far you go or how much you spend. It’s about thoughtful planning, a few experiences you’ll still talk about years later, and the space to actually be present once you get there.

That’s how I design every trip, whether it’s a long weekend, a multigenerational family vacation, or a hosted group journey. I handle the details, so you can connect with the people you’re with and come home with a story that gets better every time you tell it.
