Experience England’s Cotswolds the way they were meant to be experienced—on foot. Join Great Circle Travel for a hosted journey along the Cotswold Way, just over 100 miles of rolling countryside, storybook villages, historic landmarks, ancient stone walls, and quintessential English pubs.

This trip is ideal for travelers who love being active, enjoy the outdoors, and want a vacation that comes with a true sense of accomplishment. You don’t need to be an elite hiker, but you should come ready to walk, embrace a little challenge, and enjoy the adventure that comes with traveling on your own two feet. Along the way, we’ll wander through beautiful countryside, stop in charming villages, take in incredible views, and share plenty of laughs. At day’s end, your luggage and a comfortable place to stay will be waiting.

  • Arrive in London, check into the hotel, and enjoy a casual meet-and-greet with the group.

  • Transfer to Chipping Campden and check into the inn. Enjoy tea as we have our walk orientation.

  • Walk from Chipping Campden to Stanton.

    Walking Distance: 10.5 miles

  • Walk from Stanton to Cleeve Hill.

    Walking Distance: 13.5 miles

  • Walk from Cleeve Hill to Birdlip

    Walking Distance: 15.5 miles

  • Walk from Birdlip to Stonehouse

  • Walk from Stonehouse to Wotton-Under-Edge

  • Walk to Old Sodbury

  • Yes, though this particular trip is designed for couples. Talk to your JMA Travel Director for more information. Accommodations will vary throughout the trip and include a mix of hotels and traditional mountain alpine lodges (rifugios.)

  • There will be 5 couples including your JMA Travel Director.

  • The Marco Polo Airport in Venice (VCE)

  • While not required, travel insurance is strongly recommended.
