Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: A Princess Experience Worth the Magic
One of the most well-known experiences you can have on a Disney vacation is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This is where a Fairy Godmother in Training gives little guests the royal treatment, transforming them into princesses right before your eyes.
We chose to experience this magical makeover while cruising on the Disney Magic, and let me tell you — it was truly magical.
Our girls arrived already wearing their princess dresses, which made the excitement start right away. Each girl was invited to choose her hairstyle before being introduced to her very own Fairy Godmother in Training. From the moment the experience began, the Fairy Godmothers made the girls feel incredibly special. They explained each step of the makeover while sharing sweet little stories about how they discovered the magical products they were using.
They spoke directly to the girls, making them feel like the true stars of the moment. You could see their personalities light up as they chatted with their Fairy Godmother.
We scheduled our princess appointments at the same time as friends who were traveling with us, which made the experience even more fun. Afterward, we spent time taking princess glam photos in different spots around the ship before heading to the evening show.
As a little bit of extra magic, we happened to be dining at the ship’s princess-themed restaurant that night, which made the whole day feel even more like a fairytale.
This is one experience I highly recommend doing with your little one at least once. If your child is in their princess era, prioritize it when you have the chance — these are the kinds of memories that stick forever.

Personally, we loved doing this experience on a Disney Cruise. The pacing felt more relaxed, the Fairy Godmothers were not rushed, and there was no long wait. It allowed us to truly soak in the magic without feeling like we were missing out on other activities happening around us.
And honestly? That slower, more personal experience made the moment even more magical.
