Itinerary

  • Arrive in London. Group transfer to Chipping Campden with a private walking tour in the afternoon.

  • Walk from Chipping Campden to Stanton through quintessential Cotswold countryside, following ancient paths past rolling hills, peaceful meadows, and picturesque stone villages. The route offers beautiful views across the Vale of Evesham before arriving at Stanton, one of the Cotswolds’ most charming and unspoilt villages.

  • Walk from Stanton to Cleeve Hill through rolling Cotswold countryside, following ancient paths, open farmland, and peaceful valleys. The route finishes with a climb to Cleeve Hill, where sweeping views stretch across Cheltenham, the Severn Vale, and the distant Malvern Hills.

  • Walk from Cleeve Hill to Birdlip along the Cotswold escarpment, passing through open grassland, wooded paths, and tranquil valleys. Enjoy expansive views across the Severn Vale before descending towards Birdlip, surrounded by beautiful countryside and ancient landscapes.

  • Walk from Birdlip to Painswick along the Cotswold escarpment, following ancient paths through rolling farmland, woodland, and peaceful valleys. Enjoy far-reaching views across the Severn Vale before descending towards the historic village of Painswick, known for its charming stone cottages and beautiful surroundings.

  • Walk from Painswick to Coaley Peak through classic Cotswold countryside, following ancient tracks, woodland paths, and rolling farmland. The route offers peaceful valley views and expansive vistas across the Severn Vale before reaching Coaley Peak, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding landscape.

  • Leave Coaley Peak behind and follow a varied route of grassy ridgelines, country lanes, and peaceful rural paths. The trail gradually leads towards Wotton-under-Edge, where traditional buildings, welcoming streets, and a lively market-town character provide a rewarding end to the day.

  • From Wotton-under-Edge, the route heads across quiet farmland, wooded lanes, and gently undulating countryside toward the southern Cotswolds. Along the way, enjoy broad rural views and a peaceful succession of villages before reaching Old Sodbury, a historic settlement beneath the dramatic Iron Acton escarpment.

  • From Old Sodbury, the trail winds through open farmland, quiet country lanes, and gently rolling Cotswold countryside. Passing historic villages and wide views across the surrounding landscape, the route continues north towards Cold Ashton, a peaceful hilltop village overlooking the valleys beyond.

  • From Cold Ashton, the route follows peaceful lanes, field paths, and rolling countryside towards the historic city of Bath. As the landscape gradually changes from open farmland to the outskirts of the city, walkers are rewarded with a memorable arrival in Bath, renowned for its Roman heritage, elegant Georgian architecture, and natural hot springs.

Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your reservation

  • Second payment: $1,500 due January 1, 2027

  • Final payment: $1,500 due March 1, 2027

Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit: Non-refundable but transferable

  • Second payment: 50% refundable, minus the deposit, subject to the booking terms.

  • After the final payment: No refunds will be issued.

  • We have reservations at a fun mix of small inns and elegant hotels.

  • Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity to accommodate single rooms. However, we are happy to pair you with another solo traveler!

  • There will be a max of 12 including your Great Circle Travel Director.

  • The group transfer will be to/from Heathrow in London.

  • While not required, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

    We highly encourage travelers to purchase coverage that includes:

    • Trip cancellation/interruption

    • Emergency medical coverage

    • Emergency evacuation coverage
